专利说明:
A device for relieving sleep disturbance Background of the invention The invention relates to a device for alleviating sleep disturbance. The device comprises a chin rest and a chest support, which are connected to each other by means of an intermediate structure 5. US 2013/0333708 discloses a jaw and neck support device used to prevent snoring and treat sleep apnea. The device has a chin support and a chest support. The jaw support is concave in shape. The jaw support is connected to the chest support by means of an adjustable telescopic rod. The problem with the arrangement described above is to adapt the jaw support to the jaw structures of different people. In addition, the telescopic arm and chest support can move when the head is turned, causing the position of the chin to change and the neck to be in an uncomfortable position. There is also a risk of the chin rest slipping over the chin as the user's position changes during sleep. Therefore, the device is not stable and is uncomfortable to use, especially in long-term use. U.S. Pat. No. 7,789,843 discloses a device for treating sleep apnea. The device has a chin rest, a support for the upper body and an adjustable lever between them. The purpose is to raise the jaw support relative to the support on the upper body so that the jaw protrudes relative to the upper body. The problem is that turning your head to the side is tricky. In addition, support to the upper body is unstable as the position of the head changes during the night. Furthermore, the attachment of the jaw support is deficient. The support is unstable and uncomfortable to use in long-term use. Brief description of the invention It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device for alleviating sleep disturbance. Such disturbances include e.g. sleep apnea and snoring. The object of the invention is achieved by a device which is characterized by what is stated in the independent claim. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims. An advantage of the device according to the invention is that the device can be used in long-term use, such as in the alleviation of sleep apnea. This is an important benefit because the need to alleviate sleep apnea usually persists throughout the life after the onset of the disease. Many people with sleep apnea use a respirator during the night that produces more annoying noise the higher the pressure used. Kek 20185736 prh 04-09-2018 When using the device according to the invention, the pressure of the breathing device can be lowered, whereby it is also more comfortable for others in the same state to sleep. When using a ventilator with automatic adjustment, its pressure remains low. Furthermore, the device according to the invention can be used, for example, for 5 hours or when traveling for a short time, so that the respirator is not used at all, in which case the respirator does not have to be carried. The device according to the invention is ergonomic, comfortable to use and does not grind the neck area. The device comprises a chin rest and a chest support which are connected to each other by means of an intermediate structure. The jaw support is usually a planar body of a certain thickness. The upper surface of the jaw support, against which the lower surface of the user's jaw rests when the device is in use, is substantially planar, so that the position of the jaw can be changed laterally. The upper surface of the jaw support is usually provided with a flexible material to improve comfort. The portion of the jaw support that should be used per neck of the user is usually concave, so that the jaw support does not press on the user's throat. There may be holes in the upper surface of the chin rest that improve the breathability of the chin rest. The jaw support can also be padded to improve comfort. A price support is usually a planar piece of a certain thickness. The price support can be shaped in different ways, as long as it has a substantially level 20-like lower surface which, in use, rests against the user's chest. In general, the width of the chest support in the transverse direction of the user's chest is greater than its length. Some preferred forms of chest support are oval or rectangular with rounded edges, so that the chest support does not cause pressure towards the wearer's neck. The surface of the chest against the chest may have holes that improve the breathability of the chest. The price support can also be padded to improve comfort. The jaw support and the chest support are connected to each other by means of an intermediate structure. The intermediate structure consists of a frame with a left side and a right side. The frame may be formed of a bent or molded tubular material. 30 The left side and the right side are mirror symmetrical with respect to each other. The left side of the frame connects the chin rest to the chest support on the left. The right side of the frame connects the chin rest to the chest support on the right. The right side and the left side of the frame may be integral or they may be separate, for example, so that the point of discontinuity is formed at the jaw support or the chest support or both. However, the strongest structure35 is a single frame. 20185736 prh 04-09- 2018 On the left and right sides of the frame forming the intermediate structure there is an upper part and a lower part, between which there is a lockable joint rotating around the point of joining. The user can adjust the angle between the top and bottom to suit and lock the joint in that position. On the left and right sides of the frame, there is also an adjustment at the top of the frame to adjust the distance of the chin to the chest to fit. In other words, the upper part of the frame is adjusted so that the chin is in the correct position with a view to alleviating the disturbance during sleep. The adjustment may be effected by nested portions of the tube at the top of the frame. When the distance between the chin and the chest is correct, the adjustment is locked in place. The chest support is attached to the frame so that it is rotatable about a substantially horizontal portion at the bottom of the frame. When the chest support is in the correct position with respect to the user's chest, it is locked in place. the upper part of the frame of the left and right sides have eyelets joi15 Hin threaded fastening strap that passes behind the neck, the device can be firmly fixed. Usually there are two mounting loops on each side. The fastening loops can be slightly inclined outwards, which makes the device very easy to fasten and thus ensures that the fastening loops do not press on the user. The inclination can be, for example, 10 °, but it is at most 20 ° to the vertical. The fastening strap may be a unitary piece branching at each end so that the ends can be threaded into the fastening loops. The ends of the fastening strap may be an adhesive tape that attaches easily. The area of the fastening strap against the neck may have a reinforcement which keeps the vertical portion of the fastening strap straight when the fastening strap is in use. Brief description of the figures The invention will now be described in more detail in connection with preferred embodiments, with reference to the accompanying figures, in which: Figures 1-3 show a device according to the invention in a perspective view; Figures 4-5 show a device according to the invention in use. Detailed description of the invention Figures 1 to 3 show the device 1 according to the invention in perspective views. The device 1 comprises a chin support 2 and a chest support 3. The chin support 2 and the chest support 3 35 are connected to each other by means of a frame 4 acting as an intermediate structure. Frame 4 has 20185736 prh 04-09- 2018 viewed from the user's direction left side 4a and right side 4b. The left side 4a is divided into the upper left part 4al and the lower left part 4a2. At the junction of the upper left part 4al and the lower left part 4a2 there is a junction 5a rotating around the junction, which can be locked in place. Correspondingly, the right side 4b is divided into the upper right part 4bl and the lower right part 4b2. At the junction of the upper right part 4bl and the lower right part 4b2 there is a joint 5b rotating around the junction, which can be locked in place. The user can adjust the angle between the upper parts 4al, 4bl and the lower parts 4a2, 4b2 to suit by turning the joints 5a, 5b. When the angle is correct, the user can lock the joints 5a, 5b in position. The frame 4 may be formed of a bent or molded tubular material. The left side 4a and the right side 4b are mirror symmetrical with respect to each other. 4AL upper parts of the frame and 4BL have vertical sections and a horizontal section connecting the upper part of the left side of the frame 4AL and the upper part 4b of the right side of the horizontal plane 1. 2a having a chin support 2 is deprived of yh15 above said horizontal portion. The left lower part 4a2 and the right lower part 4b2 of the frame 4 comprise an oblique portion and a horizontal portion 7 to which the chest support 3 is connected. The lower parts 4a2, 4b2 can have other shapes, but it is preferred that the frame 4 shrinks in the width direction towards the chest support 3. The left side 4a of the frame connects the chin support 2 and the chest support 3 on the left side. The right side 4b of the frame connects the chin support 2 and the chest support 3 on the right side. The right side 4b and the left side 4a of the frame may be integral or they may be separate, for example, so that the point of discontinuity is formed at the jaw support 2 or the chest support 3 or both. In Figures 1-3, the frame 4 is shown in one piece. On the left 4a and right side 4b of the frame 4, the upper parts 4al, 4bl of the frame 4 also have adjustments 6a, 6b with which the distance of the jaw to the chest is adjusted to suit. The adjustment can be effected by nested portions of the tube at the top of the frame 4. When the distance between the chin and the chest is correct, the adjustment is locked in place. The chest support 3 is fixed to the frame 4 so that it can be rotated around the substantially horizontal portion 7 at the bottom of the frame 4 at the joint 8. When the chest support 3 is in the correct position with respect to the user's chest, it is locked in place. 4 on the left side of the frame 4a and 4b of the right side of the upper parts of 4AL, 4b January 35 has the rings 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d, which is threaded fastening strap 11. When the fastening strap extends behind the neck, the device can be firmly fixed. 20185736 prh 04-09- 2018 The jaw support 2 is usually a planar body of a certain thickness. The upper surface 2a of the jaw support 2, against which the lower surface of the jaw of the user of the device rests when the device is in use, is substantially planar, whereby the position of the jaw can be changed laterally. The upper surface 2a of the jaw support 2 is generally provided with a flexible material to improve the comfort of use. The portion 10 of the jaw support 2 facing the neck is concave, so that the jaw support 2 does not press on the user's throat. The jaw support is generally at right angles to the vertical portions of the upper parts 4al and 4bl of the frame, but a range of 85 to 110 ° is possible, i.e. the outer edge of the upper surface 2a of the jaw support 2 is slightly raised with respect to the inner edge. The price support 3 is usually a planar piece of a certain thickness. The price support 3 can be shaped in various ways, as long as it has a substantially planar lower surface 3a which, in use, rests against the user's chest. The width of the price support 3 in the transverse direction of the user's chest is greater than its length. Some preferred shapes of the chest support 3 are oval or rectangular with rounded edges, whereby the chest support does not cause pressure towards the wearer's neck either. Figures 4 to 5 show the device according to the invention in use. Figure 4 shows the operating situation from the front of the user U and Figure 5 shows the operating situation from the side of the user U. Figures 4 and 5 are disposed sake of clarity, only one side of the reference numbers, but since the device 1 is mirror symmetrical, the reader will understand, 20 and also on the other side of the respective parts. Prior to use, the device has been adjusted to suit the user. The angle between the upper parts 4a1, 4b1 and the lower parts 4a2, 4b2 is adjusted to suit by turning the joints 5a, 5b and locking them in place. The distance of the jaw to the chest is adjusted to suit with adjustments 6a, 6b and locking them in place. The price support 3 is adjusted to the right position 25 to rest on the user's chest and locked in place. The fastening strap 11 is fastened to the fastening loops 9a to 9d so that the strap 11 runs behind the wearer's neck. The strap 11 can be adjustable, for example by means of a velcro fastening. When the chin of the user U is on the level 30 of the horizontal chin support 2 and the chest support 3 rests on the chest of the user U, the user's airways remain better open. However, the jaw support 2 allows lateral movement of the jaw. Therefore, the device 1 is also suitable for long-term use. It will be apparent to one skilled in the art that as technology advances, the basic idea of the invention can be implemented in many different ways. The invention and its embodiments 35 are thus not limited to the examples described above but may vary within the scope of the claims.
